WHAT DO I THINK HERE? Godot, the correction, has come; players w
ill fear the Greek outcome until they see “the money.” As predic
ted, global children’s halfterms have provided excellent excuse
as well. Better than average money will be made this year by sho
wing the courage & timing to go against the tide in times like this
. Eurozone refused to give the Greeks the money last night. Gree
ce Parliament may first have to pass vote on Sunday; then next W
ednesday, EU may sign to give the money. Nerves will be tested.
If you take a step back, US data continues to come very solid. I
f it doesn’t, Bernanke will deliver QE3 whether you like it or n
ot. Jun Ma uplifts his China GDP forecast. In EM, we got one of
the highest hard & local ccy fund inflows in 6 years! (mainly 2
funds but still). Many will be timid & prefer to ski with their families
now. This may give very good chances to put fresh risk on at better
levels. “What do I think here,” will be back next Thursday after I enjoy the
slopes with my children.
